Smashbox was born from the intuition of two heirs to the famous Max Factor brand who, photographers by profession, conceived and began producing cosmetics that could “withstand” the stress of a photo shoot. Little curiosity: they were the first to bring to market the primer, a base that prepares the skin for makeup, making it more resistant.
In 2010 the brand was acquired by the Estée Lauder Group.

The BASED team designed and developed Canvases, a Facebook tool that allows information to be conveyed by leveraging the entire screen of a mobile device, creating a new-and more engaging-user experience.
For Smashbox, we designed canvases dedicated to the discovery of various products, in which “push” actions were implemented to invite users to participate in meetings organized by the brand in some affiliated perfumeries.
