Creativity and development for an online contest

Corsini Cafe is a Tuscan roasting company that distributes its espresso blends and other hot drinks through the’e-commerce designed and developed by BASED.

The KENYA blend, specially created to support the “I love lions” project, was voted product of the year 2017.

To support the #ilovelions project, which aims to raise funds for the protection of this African big cat, the client asked our digital agency to develop a online contest that could engage and raise awareness of the initiative among the target audience, creating engagement and stimulating the fundraising.

Develop a online contest that could engage and raise awareness of the initiative among the target audience, creating engagement and stimulating fundraising.

Solution

We thus devised a online contest, for which we managed the creativity, development and even the legal and bureaucratic paperwork, in which registered users had the opportunity to create a personalized video.

The interface allowed people to choose a virtual mane and roar, from among several proposed, to put themselves in the shoes of a lion and actively support the fundraising campaign by sharing it on social media.

Each registered user had, in addition, a chance to enter a drawing for coffee supplies, espresso machines signed Corsini and the grand final prize: a trip to Kenya for two people.

In addition, by inviting friends to participate in the contest, users could accumulate points to participate in the instant win newspapers and increase one's chances of winning in the final draw.
